2025 Planning Commission Meeting Dates

2025 Planning Commission Submittal Deadlines

The Planning Commission consists of seven members appointed by the Township Board, and each member serves a 3-year term. The Planning Commission is responsible for recommending approval or disapproval to the Township Board on considerations such as Comprehensive Planning, Zoning Ordinance amendments, rezoning requests, platted neighborhoods and site condominiums, and Planned Unit Developments.  The Planning Commission is the approving body for most Special Use Permits and site plan reviews.

Planning Commission meetings are open to the public, and all are encouraged to attend to have a voice in your government. The regular meeting schedule is the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at the Township Hall. Generally, the first meeting of the month is open to applications (submittal deadlines) while the second is reserved for Planning Commission work sessions on items such as Comprehensive Plan or Zoning Ordinance considerations.
