Garfield Township Boards & Commissions

The Township Board is the legislative body for Garfield Township, and consists entirely of elected officials. The Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals each consist of persons appointed by the Township Board. The City of Traverse City/Garfield Township Joint Planning Commission consists of persons appointed by the Township and the City.
